REVIEW: Golden Rose Jolly Jewels

Hello!! Recently I picked up a couple of Golden Rose nailpolishes and today I will be reviewing the one in the color 115.

This is such a pretty and interesting color to me. I haven't seen anything like this before. You get 10,8 ml of product and it is really inexpensive. It has a milky base with different colors of glitter inside: green, yellow, orange, purple, blue and white! I think the nailpolish looks the best with two coats and it dries pretty fast. Im not a big fan of the brush because for my taste it is a little too thin. I like wider brushes better because it just makes it easier to apply the nailpolish. When I applyed the nailpolish I didn't use a base or a top coat so it chipped in like two days. I will have to try it again with atleast a top coat and see if it lasts any  longer.

Also, this color is a perfect dupe for the China Glaze It's a trap-eze! The color is pretty much the same for a lot less money. So, if you like that nailpolish and don't want to spend a lot of money on it you should definitely try this one from Golden Rose!!

PS: it is impossible to remove the glitter from the nails!

Update: going from brown to blonde

Hello! Last time I said that I was going to keep you updated on my hair color so here it is. :D Just like last time I used the Garnier color naturals hair dye in the shade 111.

I really like this product because it actually makes my hair feel soo soft and healthy. I use two packs of it because my hair is very thick so one isn't enough. It did lighten my hair and I am happy with the results but I am not going to put a picture because I just couldn't capture the actual color with my camera. The only thing that I didn't like is that in some places where I have my highlights the color turned grey. It's not that big of a deal because it went away pretty soon. I am going to continue using this color until I get the results I want. I think that will take one or two more treatments. Thanx for reading and I will continue to update you. If you have any advice or suggestions on how to achieve a pretty blonde color you can leave it in the comments :D

Maybelline Colorama blush

Recently I bought the Maybelline colorama blush in the shade 201. My first impression was that I really love the color and I have been looking for something similar. I think this product is new, atleast here in my country because I have never seen it before.  It is a bright pink color with a lot of shimmer in it and its really glowy. For that reason I don't think highlighter should be worn with it because it would just be too much shimmer. The face would look like a disco ball :-P

I think the blush is very pretty if you are not a 'matt person'. The pigmentation is pretty good and you only need to put on a little bit. There is no scent to the product and it is very affordable.
Have any of you tryed it??

going from BROWN to BLONDE

I am in the process of going from darkish brown to blonde. My hair has a red pigment so that makes things even more complicated. This is how my hair looked before I started going blonde:

I have naturally curly and dry hair so doing all this to it made it even worse but I really wanted to see how blonde would look on me. I've tryed a bunch of colors but I never made it to the platinum blonde that I want so that is my goal now.

On my first visit to the hair salon I got my hair bleached (which I didn't plan on in the beginning). After leaving that on my head for like an hour and washing it, the hair dresser dyed my hair a really platinum ash blonde color . She used Keune 1517. It is supposed to make the hair less yellow but I dont think it really did that for me. Here are a couple of  pictures of my hair after the first visit:

As you can see my hair was really orange and yellow. After a two week pause I went to the hair salon again :)  This time I got highlights . I didn't even really notice them in my hair but o well... After another two weeks had passed I decided to dye my whole hair at home. I used Garnier color naturals 111. This is how my hair looks today :

I'm still not quite happy with it because the tips of my hair are still orange. I like the color at the roots so I am going to try to make my whole hair like that. I will be dying my hair again in about a week and I will post more pictures so you can see if it gets any better. I think I have accomplished a lot in a month and it did damage my hair but not as much as I thought it would. Thank you for reading and check back again for updates!! :D

nailpolish of the day

For nailpolish of the day I chose another color from the china glaze neon collection!! It is called Im with the Lifeguard :D

I love bright colors and they are perfect for spring and summer! This nailpolish is pretty opaque so you only need two coats of it. It also dries really fast!

ombre nails

Hi friends! My favorite thing to do on my nails is ombre because it is soo simple and fun! The colors i chose this time were a bright pink and yellow!! Here is what i used: china glaze 1090 sun-kissed and china glaze 1084 hang-ten toes. They are both from the china glaze neon collection.

First you prime your nails. White nailpolish is the best to put under neon colors because it makes them show up better :D After it dries you put both of your colors on a sponge and press on your nail. You have to repeat the process for every nail or two.

After the first layer is dry put on another one if you like and finish with a clear top coat. Since this is a bit messy I used these soaked pads to remove the nailpolish that got on my fingers.

And this is the final result. I hope you like it:D
